ACE START
Where children can be children!

ACE START provides boundless opportunities for your child both inside our classrooms and outside in our wonderful grounds. Your child will begin to discover the early stages of reading, writing and maths that will be key to all future learning. In addition, our programme of activities and play enables our young learners to develop a range of inquiry and social skills that are crucial in our modern world.

The Early Years programme develops knowledge, understanding and skills through a spiral approach, by revisiting and engaging with topics and skills in more depth at each stage. This therefore helps learners to meet internationally established milestones for early development. Although children develop at different rates, the curriculum provides a structure for teaching and learning that will help you to monitor and support each child’s progress.
Moreover, this curriculum supports a bilingual or multilingual approach for learners with a home language other than English, as well as those with different experiences of English.

Cambridge Early Years is split into six curriculum areas that help support the development of the children and effectively prepares them for the next stage of the Primary Curriculum. These areas are as follows:
-
Communication and Literacy
-
Creative Expression
-
Mathematics
-
Physical Development
-
Personal, Social and Emotional Development
-
Understanding the World
ACE START is a registered CAMBRIDGE EARLY YEARS CENTRE. It provides a warm, safe and stimulating environment where children can be children. Our happy, engaged children are eager to learn and who develop respect for themselves and others.
At ACE START our highly qualified and experienced staff focus on the needs of your child. We monitor their well-being and we ensure that mind and body are nurtured in safety whilst your child explores the world around them.

The Cambridge Curriculum journey begins with the Early Years programme. Cambridge Early Years is typically for learners aged 3-5 years old. The curriculum follows a holistic approach that focuses on the whole child and connects their development with the world and people around them.
It is built on the four key areas of child development:
