Hello,
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 7 years old, when my toys were my pupils along with my long suffering guinea pig, Sheba.
Now I am Head of Schools in our ACE of BRUSSELS family. No two children learn in the same way so ACE of BRUSSELS is built on flexibility, giving us the adaptability that we need to develop people who are kind, curious and creative. This is why we use the world renowned and highly respected Cambridge International Curriculum all the way through our school from 3 years old to 19 years old and beyond!
Our ACE of BRUSSELS family consists of ACE of BRUSSELS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, our intentionally small school situated in the leafy commune of Auderghem, close to the European Union institutions, NATO and Eurocontrol. Then there is ACE ASCEND, our online school which is not only for those who wish to study independently or from different parts of the world but also for those students who wish to integrate some of their online learning into their full time timetable in ACE of BRUSSELS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. Perfect for students who want to access a subject in addition to our mainstream curriculum.
Furthermore, everyone can sit their Cambridge International exams at our ACE EXAMINATION CENTRE. This is for registered students and external students alike and age is no restriction. I believe the eldest candidate I have known who sat an exam was 65 years young!

ACE of BRUSSELS
Hello,
As the Head of the Senior School at ACE of Brussels, I work closely with our teachers, case managers and students to ensure that the path they take from Year 7 to Year 13 is clear and purposeful. Student progress is closely monitored, areas where additional support may be needed are identified, and together we ensure that individual needs are considered when making academic decisions.
Within the Senior School, we follow the Cambridge International system, guiding students through the Lower Secondary, IGCSE and AS/A Level curriculum. My role is to ensure that students are supported at each stage of this journey, and that they understand the choices and opportunities available to them as they progress through the school.
As students move into their exam years, I also support them to become more independent, ensuring that they take ownership of their learning, while preparing them for their next steps, whether that be further study, university or entering the world of work.
As well as being the Head of the Senior School, I am also the Exams Officer so I know the Cambridge Curriculum inside and out! Cambridge has two examination sessions in May/June and October/November and you can select which session suits you best.
Whatever your age, whether you want to sit for IGCSE's, AS or A Levels, I will guide you on the registration process and keep you updated about requirements and timings. It is my job to make the process of taking your exams as stress free as possible. From the moment that you first enquire to the point where you walk into the exam room, I will be with you all the way. This is true whether you are an ACE student or an external candidate.

There is nothing quite like teaching children in the Junior School years. At this age, their curiosity is endless and their ability to learn, adapt and grow is extraordinary - often making progress that surprises even themselves. It is a privilege to be part of that journey.

Our Junior School teachers bring with them a wealth of experience, having taught in different contexts, curriculums and countries around the world. This breadth of experience, combined with the Cambridge Primary curriculum, gives our children a rich and rigorous foundation for their learning.

I believe firmly in educating the whole child. That means taking the time to understand each child's interests and hobbies, and using that knowledge to shape a curriculum that is engaging, relevant and appropriately challenging - one that prepares children not only for Senior School, but for the wider world beyond it.
